Los Angeles Lakers head coach Luke Walton says LeBron James will make his debut Sunday, against the Denver Nuggets.
For anyone excited to catch a glimpse of LeBron James in Los Angeles would not have to wait much longer. According to Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet, James will make his debut as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, Sunday, September 30th against the Denver Nuggets in San Diego.
Lakers head coach, Luke Walton said the 14-time all-star will play between one to 48 minutes, but Trudell reported that James will likely be on a minutes restriction in his first game.
James, 33, signed a four-year $153.3 million deal with Lakers this offseason, following a remarkable season with the Cleveland Cavaliers. While helping the Cavs reached their four straight Finals (LeBron’s eighth), James averaged 27.5 points, 9.1 assists, and 8.6 rebounds per game.
