The Bears and their defense dominated in their Monday night’s game against the Washington Redskins at FedEx Field. Going into last night’s game, the Bears; led by their menacing defense, wanted to put together a streak and jump-start Coach Matt Nagy’s offense. The Redskins needed a win desperately as they start the season 0-2 at the time of the game, and 2-16 at FedEx Field on Monday nights. Whether it was Mack or Trevathan causing problems for the opposing offensive line, or Ha-Ha Clinton Dix ball-hawking in the secondary, the Bears made it difficult for Washington to make it a game.

At half-time the Redskins were down 28-3, holding Case Keenum to 9/14 for 96 yards, 2 INT’s and 1 fumble along with a deflating pick-six on the opening drive. The defensive play of the Bears allowed Nagy’s offense to shine, led by Mitch Trubisky 3 Td’s; all of which caught by Taylor Gabriel. The Bears get back on track to compete in a tough NFC North division, while the Redskins sit at 0-3.
