New York Giants: Joe Judge finalizing deal to become Giants next Head Coach

The New York Giants announced finalizing a deal that would make former New England Patriots wide receiver coach and special teams coordinator Joe Judge their next head coach, after failing to match the Carolina Panthers offer for Matt Rhule. Judge previously spent 8 seasons as an assistant coach for the New England

Judge,38, is replacing Pat Shurmur as head coach after being fired last week after two seasons and will become the 19th head coach in franchise history. The Giants are 12-36 since the 2017 season. Judge has been mentored by Alabama coach Nick Saban and Patriots Bill Belichick.

The Giants also requested to interview former Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett for the OC position as well. Garrett is still under contract for the Cowboys until January 14th.
