Texans ink Randall Cobb to a three-year deal


After trading DeAndre Hopkins to the Arizona Cardinals, the Houston Texans signed wide receiver, Randall Cobb, according to James Jones of NFL Network. The three-year deal is worth up to $27 million with $18.75 million fully guaranteed.

Cobb, 29, spent the 2019 season with the Dallas Cowboys where he recorded 55 passes for 828 years, to go along with three touchdowns on 15.1 yards per attempt. The pro-bowl receiver (2014) began his career with the Green Bay Packers, where he was selected in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft.   

For his career, Cobb has played nine seasons appearing in 120 games with 79 starts while registering 525 receptions for 6,352 yards and 44 touchdowns. According to Pro Football Focus, Cobb ranked 55th among 103 receivers in the league with a grade of 69.9 last season.
