With the sports world coming to a halt, the NBA came up with an artistic solution to create some entertainment for its fans. According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, the league will be hosting a players-only NBA 2K tournament, set to begin on Friday, and will air on ESPN. The tournament will feature 16 NBA players headlined by Brooklyn Nets‘ star, Kevin Durant.
As they still try to finalize some key details, joining Durant in the 10-day tournament will be All-Stars Donovan Mitchell (Jazz), Trae Young (Hawks) and Devin Booker (Suns) — among other big-name players.

This year’s 2K cover athlete Anthony Davis has not confirmed if he will take place in the competition, but it will be nice to see the Laker partake in the tournament. In addition to Davis, it will also be great to see reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo participate in the tournament — who graced the cover of NBA 2K19.
