Down by 20 early in the fourth quarter, Los Angeles coach Frank Vogel made a defensive change for the Lakers to play zone defense. The change would help the Lakers chargeback with a 19-2 run. For Los Angeles, LeBron James had 30 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds. Anthony Davis — who scored the winning basket at the buzzer in Game 2 — scored 27 points in the loss.
The Nuggets would try to tie the series in a Game 4 battle on Thursday. Tip-off is slated for 8:00 P.M. CT. on TNT.
